Naming Ceremony

The Plushlings need names.

When I have a bunch of Plushlings created, I do the Naming Ceremony. I gather all the things I need like handmade affirmation blanks with envelopes and seals, tags and pre-cut twine, and the Plushlings themselves.

I get comfy at the table, put on some soft music, and pick up a Plushling. This huggable friend gets a unique name, birthday, and “tagline” or personal motto. Then, a one-of-a-kind affirmation that they can give to the person that adopts them, that is signed by the creator (that’s me). I also write a little origin story for them, which gives them some personality. Once this is done, the tag is written and attached, they get their adoption photo taken, and they are ready to find their forever home.

There are about 60 personalities in my kitchen right now!
…and there are at least 30 more that are ready for their Naming Ceremony!

Why so many?

I am gearing up for a community event where I will present my Plushlings for adoption, along with hardcover copies of 365 Days of I Am Statements and two bundles of my New Year, New Love Guided Journals (each with a curated, free gift!).

My little Plushling Friends are all hoping to get adopted so that they can bring joy and a soft, gentle reminder of self-love and self-worth to their new forever friend.

You can meet the Plushlings (and Me, of course), at the Fall Harvest Festival in New Oxford, PA on October 25th.

Hope to see you there!
