Last week, I was ready to throw in the towel. Call it quits. Give up and give in on my dream of helping others with Inspired Chapter.
I started panic applying for jobs. Planning out how quickly I could find a way to pay off my loans and just be done with all of it. Fade back into obscurity.
This was a low low.
One Small Promise
For more than forty years, I lived like I was on mute. I tried to stay small, keep the peace, and never take up too much space. I avoided mirrors, skipped basic self-care, and talked to myself with cruelty I would never use on anyone else. My life ran on chaos and survival, and I honestly believed I had no worth.
